WESTERN VETERINARY PARTNERS, LLC (together with its affiliates and subsidiaries, “Western Veterinary Partners,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our“) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who interact with our corporate website located at westernvetpartners.com (the “Site“). This Privacy Policy describes the categories of personal information we collect about visitors to our Site, how we use and share that information, your privacy rights, and how to contact us with questions or requests. This Privacy Policy applies to the WVP corporate website only. Privacy practices for our affiliated veterinary practice locations are governed by a separate Practice Privacy Policy available on each practice’s website. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the personal information of our employees, contractors, or job applicants, which is governed by our Candidate Privacy Notice and applicable employment policies. Please review this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using our Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not use the Site.

2. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION.

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are behavioral analytics tools that use session recordings and heatmaps to help us understand how visitors interact with the Site. Microsoft Clarity records mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior on certain pages, and applies IP address anonymization and content masking of form field inputs. Session recording is excluded entirely on pages containing forms.
  • Marketing and Advertising Cookies: Used to deliver relevant content and track the effectiveness of our communications. These cookies may be set by third-party advertising partners.
  • Functional and Accessibility Tools: We use UserWay, an accessibility widget that helps visitors navigate the Site, including individuals using assistive technology. UserWay is classified as a functional tool necessary for accessibility and Site usability, and is not subject to the opt-in consent requirement described in Section 4(b) below.

We may disclose personal information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (i) comply with applicable law or legal process, including responding to subpoenas or government requests; (ii) enforce our terms of use or other agreements; or (iii) protect the rights, property, or safety of Western Veterinary Partners, our users, or the public.

(e) Professional Advisors. We may share personal information with our lawyers, accountants, and other outside professional advisors in the ordinary course of business.

Retention periods vary depending on the category of personal information and the purposes for which it was collected. We will respond to your request within 45 days of receipt. If we need additional time (up to 90 days total), we will notify you of the reason and extension period in writing. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

(g) Right to Appeal. If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal our decision by contacting us at the address above with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to your appeal within 45 days of receipt. Colorado, Virginia, and Connecticut residents whose appeals are denied may contact their respective state Attorney General for further assistance.

(h) Authorized Agents. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will require written proof of authorization and may still ask you to verify your identity directly with us.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY. Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
