Amy Fedon

Director of Business Development

Amy brings over 15 years of deep expertise in the animal health industry to her role at WVP, having held a range of sales and leadership positions at Pfizer Animal Health and Zoetis, including her most recent role as Senior Strategic Account Manager. Throughout her career, Amy has cultivated strong, trusted relationships across the veterinary care ecosystem—from independent practice owners to industry thought leaders—making her a valuable connector and advocate within the profession.

At WVP, Amy is excited to leverage her experience to help support the company’s expansion initiatives. Her passion for veterinary medicine is matched by her commitment to preserving the legacy and culture of each hospital she works with. She takes pride in guiding practice owners through transition processes that prioritize their teams, honor their histories, and position their clinics for long-term success.

Drake Carlson

Drake Carlson

Director of Business Development

As Director of Business Development, Drake loves connecting great veterinary practices with WVP and forming new friendships along the way. He has over 16 years of business development experience with the last 9 years in animal health. Prior to joining WVP, he spent six years with Patterson Veterinary Supply. Drake resides in Omaha, NE with his wife, three kids (8-year-old boy/girl twins and a 6-year-old boy), and a golden retriever (Jack). The Carlson family are avid Cornhusker Fans! When he is not working, you will find him at his kids’ sporting events, cheering on the Huskers, and trying to squeeze in a round of golf now and then. Drake received his BA in Business Administration from Morningside University and was a catcher on the baseball team.

Jen Abram

Jen Abram

Director of Business Development

Jen has spent the last decade in animal health providing medical and business solutions to veterinarians and their staff. As a Strategic Account Manager with Zoetis, Jen’s role was to educate and partner with veterinary practices to better the health of their patients, practice and team. In this role, she developed training tools and an accredited leadership certificate program for the industry.

As a Regional Sales Manager with KindredBio, Jen pursued her passion around people and their development by mentoring and coaching a multi-state sales team. Jen has also served on various industry boards, including Project VETS–a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and welfare of animals around the world.

Prior to animal health, Jen spent ten years on the human health side with Johnson & Johnson and Abbott Laboratories in technical sales and recruiting. Jen holds a BA in Journalism and Business from Indiana University.

Lindsay O’Grady

Lindsay O’Grady

Director of Business Development

Lindsay has more than 20 years of experience in the veterinary industry. Most recently, Lindsay held leadership roles in development, recruiting, and regional operations for VetCor, a leading group veterinary hospital support organization with over 300 hospitals nationwide. Prior to VetCor, Lindsay served as a practice manager of two small animal practices in addition to a large specialty animal hospital center. She began her career working in reception for her hometown veterinarian and over her career has held positions in nearly every area of a veterinary hospital. Lindsay attended Bentley University and holds a master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. She continues to maintain her veterinary technician license and membership in veterinary community organizations.

Michael Korompilas

Director of Business Development

Michael has over 10 years of experience in healthcare investing and operating. He previously worked for privately backed groups in the Dental and Veterinary spaces, serving as Director of Finance and Acquisitions while leading the significant growth of each respective healthcare services platform. Michael also served as an Associate on the investing side for Chicago based private equity firms where he focused on investing in the lower middle market in business services, manufacturing, and distribution. Michael was raised in Chicagoland and received degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Corporate Innovation from Indiana University. Michael also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

One of WVP’s first employees, Michael, has over 30 years of experience in veterinary sales and leadership. He has built and led sales teams for IDEXX, HESKA and BioMerieux, three of the industry’s largest veterinary laboratory service providers. Through his career, he has helped advise hundreds of practices throughout the United States in enhancing their diagnostic capabilities. Michael has received numerous awards for customer satisfaction and high performance throughout his time in veterinary sales. Michael has been married for 25 years and has three children in college. He holds a BA from San Diego State University.

Matt Del Bello

Director of Business Development

Matt has over 9 years of business development experience. Most recently, he served as a Business Development Associate for Soundcore Capital Partners, working with business owners across various industries to share the benefits of partnership. Prior to working with Soundcore Capital Partners, he was an Associate Vice President of Business Development with Wellington Management, a large asset manager, where he focused on fundraising for various private equity funds. Matt lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife Sarah, daughter Eleanor, and their long-coated dalmatian, Hank. Matt also holds an MBA from Boston College.

Jonathan Mastrella

Senior Manager of Business Development

Jonathan joined Western Veterinary Partners in November 2021, starting on the corporate development team. In that role, he led financial diligence, supporting acquisitions from initial evaluation to partnership. Today, he is leveraging that deal experience to build strong relationships with prospective partners and guide them through their journey with WVP. Before joining WVP, Jonathan worked in both personal and corporate finance. Originally from Rochester, NY, Jonathan earned his B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder. He now lives in Denver with his girlfriend and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Rex. Outside of work, you’ll often find him in the mountains snowboarding, camping, hiking, or rooting on his Colorado Buffaloes and Buffalo Bills.
