WVP Mentorship

We understand the importance of providing mentorship opportunities, especially to early career DVMs, and we created a program to support both mentees and mentors.  We partner with Ready, Vet, Go, led by Dr. Dani Rabwin to support our mentees to build confidence and skills in clinical practice.  Our mentors also receive structure and guidance through our partnership with Dr. Kate Boatright, to ensure they can best support their mentees.

About WVP Launch

WVP Launch is a mentorship program that provides skills training and support to early career doctors. Participants are paired with both virtual and in-clinic mentors. The program also features access to internal and external education resources. WVP Launch’s mission is to help new veterinarians launch their careers with gaining confidence through foundational learning in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What To Expect

WVP Launch is a one-year program that starts with the pairing of an early career veterinarian with an in-clinic mentor who will serve as their guide in both medicine and surgery. Mentee DVMs will also have opportunities to attend in-person hands-on clinical skills training in areas such as dentistry or surgery. In addition, participants will have access to online on-demand training and continuing education resources.
